



It was raining for the Plein Air event on Saturday, so I brought a canopy. That helped but the added moisture gave the watercolors a life of their own. The result was a soft effect. Since the water did not dry as normal it was hard to know what would happen.
This is at Red Pine Creek dike at the Trempeleau National Wildlife Refuge.
Trempeleau means “feet in the water” from a longer French title for “The Mountain with its feet in the water.” It fit this day
