Young vine

Updated.
I started this Plein Air at Elmaro, but tossed it aside. I took it home and restarted it with a photo reference.

Final
Layers Vines have lots of details to get lost in, for example leaf veins and vine tendrils.
The cloud probably looks like Mt. Rainier from my home state.

Greenhouse

We live in the city, have been reducing lawn and adding native plants, currants, and columnar apples. Now we have a small green house for seed starting and extending the season for potted plants. Jerry found the plan on the internet.

In process Creation care means for us planting for birds and pollinators, avoiding herbicides and insecticides, and tolerating a diverse lawn which has clover on purpose and unavoidable creeping charley.
The greenhouse is made with cedar lumber and clear acrylic panels.

Elmaro Plein Air #2

I was trying Golden Open acrylic slow drying paint. In sunny and windy conditions it dried fairly fast on the pallet, but slower on the board I used.
Here is my unfinished product.

Unfinished I’ll work in it at home to later the multiple green tones.

Canadian haze When is Plein Air not? This is the piece after some work at home.

We had a great day with 21 artists participating in the event. The rain showed up, so I finished early.

Looking down river Several of us were on the observation area. Here is a comparison of styles with Faye Schoen.

Two views I have some work to finalize mine, call it Plein Air Plus.
We’ll do it again next year.
